The Database of Managing Divergences has been created in order to collect best practices and strategies aimed to reduce the gaps between expectations and perceptions on Quality of the Learning Outcome.

Referring to the ExPerO Model indicators and sub-indicators we asked to school leadership to answer to a semi-structured interview. The questions refer to each cross (stakeholder * sub-indicator) asking how it is possible to reduce the gap between expectations and perceptions of the specific sub-indicators for each category of stakeholder. It is important to highlight that the reduction of a gap does not always mean to change the HTE course on the basis of the expressed expectations.

When a school decides to use ExPerO model to analyse the quality of the learning outcome, it has to be clarified that the “stakeholder oriented approach” means to know and to consider the stakeholder expectations, not always to adequate the service on their basis.
