In this section, data related to the expectation and perception analysis which have been collected by the project partnership are tabulated.

The static view of this information directly reflects the content of the EX.PER.O database that has been developed by Politecnico di Torino and that represents the EX.PER.O. knowledgebase.

A web-based system for the on-line consultation of the database has also been made available, thus allowing for possibly re-using the same technology in other contexts.

With respect to the expectation analysis, questionnaires and supporting documents that have used to carry out focus groups and interviews were originally designed as Microsoft Word files. These files have been converted into the Microsoft Excel format to both ease data collection and to enable for automatic processing. In fact, an intelligent system has been developed to perform automatic extraction and to simultaneously carry out data insertion into the database. Project knowledgebase related to expectation analysis can be accessed on an annex-document base and, for each annex-document, information collected by project partners can be displayed in terms of answers to the designed set of questions.

To enable data collection with respect to perception analysis, due to the different format of information to be processed, system has been directly developed using a web-based interface.

As for expectation analysis, data can be accessed on an annex based, and for each annex, all the samples that have been provided can be individually analyzed.
